Dr. Ava Cadell is a love and relationship expert with two Doctorates in Human Behavior and Human Sexuality. Through her private practice in Los Angeles, she counsels people on personal issues ranging from communication problems, anger management, infidelity and power struggles; fear of intimacy, to lack of desire.

Ken Seeley has remained involved, professionally and personally, in recovery since 1987. He applies
his relevant experience and boundless enthusiasm to profoundly change the lives of people who suffer from the disease of addiction - both the addict, and the addicts' families and friends. As the founder and executive director of Intervention911, Ken saves lives every day. His organization is one of the most prominent and successful private intervention services in the country.

Currently, Ken is one of the on-camera interventionists featured on the award-winning docu-drama, Intervention A&E's top-rated series.

ALBERT RAY, MD

Dr. Ray has been involved with the study and treatment of painful disorders for over 30 years. He has been the Associate Medical and Medical Director of the Pain Treatment Center at Baptist Hospital in Miami, the Medical Director of the Pain Management Center at Deering Hospital, and is currently the Medical Director of Pain Medicine Solutions. Dr. Ray has specialized in the interdisciplinary treatment of pain and endorses a team approach with individualized protocols for each patient.

He was instrumental in incorporating chiropractic, acupuncture, homeopathy, and other complementary treatments into the more traditional medical model, thereby utilizing a much broader foundation for the treatment of the Centers’ patients.

Dr. Ray has also been active in supporting the development of the specialty of Pain Medicine in the United States. He is Past President of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, Past President of the Southern Pain Society, a past Director of the American Board of Pain Medicine, is President of the Foundation for Pain Medicine, is Chairman of the Board of the National Pain Foundation and has been on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Branch of the National Arthritis Foundation.

Dr. Ray enjoys teaching and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Miami Medical School. Dr. Ray has received the Nancy C. Roeske, MD teaching award for Excellence in Medical Education from the American Psychiatric Society. He is a national and international lecturer, has authored papers and co-authored a chapter in a textbook on pain management, has co-edited the proceedings of an international pain meeting, and is on the editorial review board of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Ray holds a medical degree from NJ College of Medicine and Dentistry. He is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and in Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Ray has done additional training in hypnosis, biofeedback, and NeuroEmotional Technique.

Dr. Ray has been in Who’s Who in 1995/96, America’s Top Doctors in 1996/97, and was listed in the Top 200 Doctors in South Florida in 2000.

MARIA ELENA COLLAZO, Psy.D.

Maria Elena Collazo is a Clinical Psychologist and an integral member of Pain Medicine Solutions Team.  Dr. Collazo is trained (level II) in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).  New method of doing psychotherapy that works on the physiological and emotional bases of problems to facilitate change.  Dr. Collazo graduated at the top of her class at Carlos Albizu University, San Juan, P.R. with a degree in Clinical Psychology. During her seven years in the field, she has worked with different patient populations including psychiatric patients, chronic pain patients, and severely emotionally disturbed children. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is on the Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women Psychologists for 2007.
