MARIA ELENA COLLAZO, Psy.D.

Maria Elena Collazo is a Clinical Psychologist and an integral member of Pain Medicine Solutions Team.  Dr. Collazo is trained (level II) in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).  New method of doing psychotherapy that works on the physiological and emotional bases of problems to facilitate change.  Dr. Collazo graduated at the top of her class at Carlos Albizu University, San Juan, P.R. with a 

degree in Clinical Psychology. During her seven years in the field, she has worked with different patient populations including psychiatric patients, chronic pain patients, and severely emotionally disturbed children. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and is on the Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women Psychologists for 2007.
